Casa na Praia

This exquisite little beach house is located on a small “vila”named “Villa Tereza, situated just 250m from the sandy beach and the centre of Praia das Macas. With 5 houses and a large area with gardens and lawn, has been stylishly decorated and furnished. Perfect for small family or friends.

The house is 45m2 and include two bedroom, a living room (cable TV and Hi-Fi), a complete kitchen with all you need and a bathroom with a shower.

2 minutes walk, you have the beach. The town has many bars, restaurants and coffee shops where you can sample the local cuisine and take in the culture.

We will welcome you with a bottle of good Colares wine on your arrival and personnally tell you all the hints for a great holiday experience in Lisbon.

Location

Praia das Maçãs owes its name because the river that flows into in past times have run, among orchards, so the fruit when it was ripe, fell into the water and went to the beach.

Around the sand settled several trading houses, from restaurants to cafes and bars, such as houses of local crafts, so the place became a rendezvous of Sintra, who enjoy their sceene and excellent food, summer or winter.

Along the beach there is also a saltwater pool.

It is around 10 km from Sintra, and It's possible to travel from this town on the tram to Praia das Maçãs beach which celebrated 100 years in June 2004, the date on which it reestablished its connection by all, as in previous years the movement performed only between Colares - Praia das Maçãs, and later between Ribeira de Sintra - Praia das Maçãs. Currently, it can do the whole route as 30 years ago.

Directions

Villa Tereza is located on the West coast side of Lisbon. 40 minutes drive from the airport and within easy reach from Sintra.

There is a train and bus service from Lisbon into Sintra and then to Praia das Maçãs.

Booking

During July and August all bookings must start and end on Saturday. The rest of the year the day of arrival and departure is flexible.

To secure booking confirmation a non-returnable deposit of 40% of rental rate is required. Full fee is payable in 15 days advance before the arrival day and a returnable damage deposit of 150€ is required on arrival.

Payments can be done by bank transfer, paypal and cash. All details are given by e-mail at the moment of booking.

The house is cleaned before arrivals and on two weeks booking or more a mid term clean and linen change will be included in the rental price. Extra cleaning service 25.00€ / hour.

Guests can arrive any time after 3 pm on the arrival day and must leave before 11 am on the departure day. A later check-out time may be possible on request.

Guest clients are advised to book their own travel and holiday insurance.

All prices are shown in Euros and payments must be made in the same currency.
